Holdings
He held no lands or tenements of the king in chief as of the crown, but he did hold the following in demesne as of fee.
Buckland, the manor with appurtenances in Buckland, with advowson of the church there, held of the king as of the honour of Leeds as 1/2 knight’s fee. In the manor, there is a hall, two chambers adjoining, a cookhouse, 2 barns, a stable, one gate-house (‘gathows’), and two gardens adjacent, worth 13s. 4d. yearly; 118 a. arable, each acre worth 12d. yearly; 120 a. sheep-pasture (ad oves), each acre worth 4d. yearly; 8 a. timber wood, worth nothing yearly because it is not seasonable; 33s. 9 1/2d. assize rent from various tenants, payable at Easter and Michaelmas equally; 7 cockerels, price of each, 2d., and 27 hens, price of each 3d., from various tenants, payable at Christmas, and 88 eggs, price 4 1/2d., from various tenants, payable at Easter; and an old windmill, worth nothing yearly.
Luddenham and Whitstable, 51s. 7d. assize rent that is a quarter of the manor of Luddenham, payable by various tenants there at Easter and Michaelmas equally. The manor as a whole is held of Lord Roos, as of his castle of Chilham, as a knight’s fee.
Luddenham and Buckland, 51s. 11 1/2d. assize rent that is a moiety of the manor of ‘Bysshopes’, payable by various tenants there at the above terms. The manor as a whole is held of Lord Roos, as of his castle of Chilham, by service of rendering 12d. yearly blanch-farm, called ‘Blancherent’ for all service.
Luddenham, a messuage and 1/2 a. land, annual value 6s., held of the abbot of Faversham, in right of his church of St Saviour of Faversham, service unknown.
Lynsted, 10 a. land in the parish of Lynsted, annual value 3s. 4d., held of the archbishop of Canterbury as of his manor of Teynham, service unknown.
Teynham, an acre of land in the parish at Hencliff, annual value 20d., held of the archbishop of Canterbury, service unknown.

He died on 17 November 1439. Roger Frognale is his son and next heir, and was 12 on 12 September 1439.
