MARGARET DAUGHTER OF THOMAS DUFFELD

304 Writ de etate probanda. ‡ 24 July 1439. [Bate].

Regarding her inheritance as one of the daughters and heirs of Thomas Duffeld who held in chief, and regarding too her inheritance as sister and heir of Elizabeth, other daughter and heir of the same Thomas. Elizabeth lately died while a minor in royal wardship. The lands and tenements are in the custody of Henry, earl of Northumberland , William Darell, esquire , and Alexander Nevile , by commission of the king [CFR 1422–30, pp. 322–3]. Have the earl, William, and Alexander informed of the forthcoming proof of age.
