The grant was made by charter dated on 20 August 1427, shown to the jurors. John, Nicholas, and Roger afterwards, for them and their heirs, quitclaimed the manors and advowsons to Walter, then with Margaret, described as Walter Sondes, knight , and to his heirs and assigns, among other things, by deed dated on 29 January 1428. The grant was made by charter dated at Ellisfield on 16 January 1428, where the following is described as the manor of Ellisfield and advowson of the church of Ellisfield, on alternate occasions, and all lands, tenements, meadows, pasture, rents, reversions, and services in Appleshaw, Redenham, Fyfield, and Snoddington, that they lately held by enfeoffment of Walter. The charter was shown to the jurors. John, Nicholas, and Roger afterwards quitclaimed the following, among other things, for them and their heirs, to Walter, then with Margaret, described as Walter Sondes, knight , and his heirs and assigns. The quitclaim was made by deed dated on 29 January 1428, shown to the jurors.
Ellisfield, the manor, annual value 100s., with advowson of the church there on alternate occasions, held of John Syfurwast , service unknown.
