Regarding lands and tenements held of the crown in chief in dower and for life from the inheritance of Elizabeth and Joan. They are sisters and heirs of John son of John son of William who held of ‪ Henry V in chief. John son of John son of William was lately a minor in the wardship of ‪ Henry V, and died a minor in the wardship of ‪ Henry VI .

They were lately demised by John Carbonell , John Hevenyngham , knights, Thomas Cravene, esquire , John Norwich of Yoxford, and John Tolle of South Elmham to Margery and William Argentein, and the heirs of William’s body.
Halesworth, the manor, held of the king as of the honour of Chester as a knight’s fee, with advowson of the church there. There is the manorial site, worth nothing yearly; 200 a. arable, each acre worth 2d. yearly; 20 a. meadow, each acre worth 3s. yearly; 20 a. pasture, each acre worth 12d. yearly; 20 a. wood, each acre worth 8d. yearly; and £7 assize rent taken at the four terms of the year by equal parts.
Wissett, Rumburgh, Spexhall, and Holton, 100 a. land, 9 a. wood, and 3 a. meadow and pasture, annual value 20s., held of William Fereby, clerk , John Panell , and William Clerk of Beccles by 40s. yearly as of their manor of Wissett.

She died on 28 September last.

Little Wymondley, 1/3 manor, held of the king as of the honour of Albemarle by 6s. 8d. castleward yearly at Craven. There is a hall called ‘le Somerhalle’ with annexed chambers, a grange, stable, sheepfold, and a byre, with 1/3 chapel and garden adjacent, worth nothing yearly; 160 a. land, each acre worth 2d. yearly; 3 a. meadow, each acre worth 12d. yearly; 3 a. pasture, each acre worth 6d. yearly; 3 a. wood, one rood of which can be felled yearly and then worth 12d. yearly; and 30s. rent, payable at the four terms of the year by equal parts.
Great Wymondley, 1/3 manor, held of the king in chief by serjeanty by serving the king the first silver-gilt cup on the day of his coronation. There are 160 a. land, each acre worth 2d. yearly; 6½ a. meadow, each acre worth 12d. yearly; 6½ a. pasture, each acre worth 6d., yearly; 3 a. and 3 roods of wood, one rood of which can be felled yearly and then worth 12d. yearly; and 23s. rent, payable yearly as above.
Weston, 1/3 manor called Weston Argentein , held of the duke of Norfolk , service unknown. There are 19½ a. land, each acre worth 1d. yearly; 2 a. pasture, each acre worth ?6d. yearly [ms faded]; and 17s. 6d. rent, payable yearly as above.
Wallington, 1/3 rent of 10s. from the manor.
Stevenage, 1/3 rent of 2s., parcel of the manor of Little Wymondley, payable as above.
