He held the following of William, earl of Arundel , service unknown.

Stonehouse, a messuage and a carucate of land, annual value 40s.
He held the following jointly with Joan his wife, by grant of John Throkmarton and John Rous , to Robert and Joan and the heirs of their bodies, by a fine at Westminster, on the morrow of the Ascension, 1441 [CP 25/1/79/90/86]. Royal license was not obtained, but afterwards the king pardoned Robert and Joan all grants, alienations, and acquisitions of lands and tenements held in chief, as appears in the said letters of the king [sic] [?CPR 1441–6, p. 344]. Joan survives and holds the manors by virtue of the fine.
Weston-sub-Edge, the manor and the advowson of the church, annual value £10, held of the king in chief, service unknown.
Norton vndre Egge’, the manor, annual value £6 13s. 4d., held of the king , service unknown.

He died on 3 August last. John Gyfford is his brother and next heir, aged 17.
