A certain John Boteler of Limbourne was seised in demesne as of fee of the manor of Wymering and, thus seised and with royal licence, he granted it to Robert Cantell, parson of Warblington , John Coly, vicar of South Hayling , and John Cook, clerk , and their heirs and assigns. They were thus seised in demesne as of fee. Robert and John Coly afterwards died, and John Cook was then solely seised in survivorship. John Boteler also died and John Cook , with royal licence, afterwards granted the manor to Katherine, who was wife of John Boteler , and her heirs and assigns. She was thus seised in demesne as of fee and died so seised.
Wymering, the manor, total annual value £16 11s. 8d., held of the king in chief, service unknown. There is the manorial site, worth nothing yearly; 100 a. arable, each acre worth 6d. yearly; an acre of meadow, worth 20d. yearly; 300 a. pasture, each acre worth 4d. yearly; 46 a. wood, worth nothing yearly above felling; and £9 rent from various tenants-at-will, payable at Christmas, Lady Day, Midsummer, and Michaelmas, equally.

Richard Wayte and William Wayte received the issues of the manor from 10 August 1411, and still receive them.
