He died on 7 July 1438. John Berwyk is his son and next heir, and aged 40 and more.

Thomas de Bethom , Miles Berwyk , and Gabriel, brother of Miles, occupied parcels of the above from the time of his death until the day of the inquisition, and took issues to the value of £18 18s. 1 1/2d. in the meantime, title and manner unknown.
