Holdings
He held the following in demesne as of fee tail by grant of Richard Lone and John Bromley to him and the heirs of his body. Royal licence, dated at Westminster on 4 July 1422, was obtained and shown to the jurors. He was thus seised in demesne as of fee tail, and he died seised of this estate.
Repton, 1/16 manor, annual value 47s. 2d., held of the king in chief as 1/16 knight’s fee.

He died on 18 April 1439. Alice Swynarton is his daughter and next heir, and was born on 24 May 1439.

Margaret Swynarton , lately wife of Giles, and Ralph Basset of Staffordshire, esquire, have taken the issues until now since the death of Giles, title and manner unknown.
