He held no lands or tenements in demesne as of fee of the king in chief, or any other, but he held the following for life, without impeachment of waste, by grant of John Wakeryng, clerk , royal licence obtained [CPR 1436–41, p. 151], with remainder to John Gaynesford and John his son, both still living, and their heirs and assigns. The grant was made by fine [CP 25/1/292/69, no. 215], shown to the jurors along with the licence.He died on 30 May last. Elizabeth, wife of Walter Grene , is his daughter and next heir, and aged 36 years and more.
