HENRY, BROTHER OF THOMAS, SON OF FRANCIS DE COURT, KNIGHT

Regarding his inheritance as brother and heir of Thomas, son and heir of Francis de Court, knight, who held of ‪ Henry V in chief. The lands are in the custody of Lewis John by commission of ‪ Henry V [CPR 1413–16, p. 232]. Inform him of the forthcoming proof of age. [Dorse:] Lewis was informed but did not appear. Date and place of proof given.

Richard Hamond , 57 and more, well recalls because he was betrothed on the same day. Richard Skynner , 50 and more, well recalls because Walter his son died the same day. Gregory Phelip , 49 and more, well recalls because he was disseised of a tenement in East Tytherly on the same day. Thomas Frenshe , 48 and more, well recalls because he was on pilgrimage to York on the same day. John Tanner , 50 and more, well recalls because he was at an obit for Isabel his wife on the same day. Peter Wylby , 50 and more, well recalls because he was at the espousals of Thomas his son and Joan, Thomas’ wife, on the same day. Nicholas Ledrede , 57 and more, well recalls because he was at the sessions of the peace at Romsey on the same day. William Berell , 50 and more, well recalls because he was at the funeral of John his father on the same day. William Gladhyte , 60 and more, well recalls because he was ill and in danger of death from the plague on the same day. Thomas Mondy , 52 and more, well recalls because he was at an obit for Katherine his mother on the same day. John More , 49 and more, well recalls because Thomas his son and heir died the same day.
