He held the following in demesne as of fee tail by grant of Richard de Estderham , chaplain, by a fine levied at Westminster on the octave of Hilary 1319 [CP 25/1/163/137 no. 701], to James Ilketeshale and Ida his wife, and to the heirs of their bodies together. Right descended from James and Ida to Robert Ilketeshale , their son and heir, and right descended from Robert to Thomas Ilketeshale , son and heir of Robert.
Hedenham, the manor with advowson of the church pertaining to the same, held of the king as of the honour of Chester. There is a messuage and 12 a. land, worth 12d. yearly; 200 a. arable, each acre worth 2d. yearly; 100 a. arable, each acre worth 3d. yearly; a close called ‘Randolf’, worth 6s. 8d. yearly; 100 a. pasture, each acre worth 1d. yearly; 30 a. pasture, each acre worth 2d. yearly; 40 a. underwood, each acre worth 8d. yearly; 6 a. wood, worth nothing yearly above enclosure; 20 a. meadow, each acre worth 6d. yearly; 3 a. meadow, each acre worth 12d. yearly; 60s. assize rent,n0112 payable at Easter and Michaelmas by equal parts; 40s. assize rent payable as above; court with view of frankpledge, worth 2s. yearly; court with view of frankpledge, worth nothing yearly above the seneschal’s costs. Annual value of the advowson, £10.

He died on 1 October 1421. Laurence Fitzpers son of Margery daughter of Idony, one of Thomas’s sisters, Margaret wife of Thomas Seyve and another of Thomas’s sisters, and Margaret wife of Richard Elliswyk and daughter of Joan, Thomas’s other sister, are his next heirs because he died without heir of his body. Laurence is aged 26 and more, Margaret wife of Thomas Seyve is aged 40 and more, and Margaret wife of Richard Elliswyk is aged 28 and more.

William Devyle and Elizabeth [recte Isabel] his wife took the issues from the time of Thomas’s death until this day.
