Holdings
She held no lands or tenements of the king in chief in demesne or service. She was seised of the following in demesne as of fee.
Allexton, the manor called ‘Over Maner’, formerly held by John Haklete, held of the prior of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem in England as of Rothley manor by 3s. yearly to him and his successors at Lady Day and the Nativity of Mary by equal parts. There is a site, worth nothing yearly; 26s. 8d. assize rent from free tenants, payable at Michaelmas and Easter by equal parts; 140 a. arable, each acre worth 2d. yearly; 40 a. pasture, each acre worth 1d. yearly; 12 a. meadow, each acre truly worth 8d. yearly; 4 a. wood, worth nothing yearly; and two closes, one worth 2s. yearly and the other worth 6s. 8d. yearly.
Allexton, one virgate, its true annual value 6s. 8d., held of Thomas Blount, chevalier, as of his manor called ‘le Nedurhalle’ in Allexton by rendering 6d. to Thomas and his heirs at Easter. The virgate contains 30 a. arable, each acre worth 2d. yearly, and 2½ a. meadow, each acre worth 8d. yearly.
Holyoaks, one piece of meadow containing 2 a., true annual value 2s., held of John Wakerley, service unknown.

She died on 23 June last. Anne wife of Robert Chiselden, esquire, is her daughter and next heir, and aged 40 and more.

Holdings
By a fine levied at Westminster on the morrow of Martinmas 1382, Edward Dalyngrigge, chevalier , and Elizabeth his wife, deforc., granted the bailiwick of the forest of Rutland, among other things, to William Burgh and Margery, then his wife, quer., and to the heirs of William [CP 25/1/289/53 no. 72]. The fine was levied at royal command and shown to the jurors. William died seised of this estate and Margery afterwards died seised of the bailiwick in her demesne as of free tenement.
Rutland, the bailiwick of the forest, is held of the king in chief by rendering 40s. to the Exchequer at Michaelmas. It is of no annual value even with profits of ‘Wodesylver’, ‘Heggyngsylver’, cablish, appointment and removal of foresters at the keeper’s wish, cart-toll, lawing of dogs, and perquisites of attachments and all swanimotes and courts of the forest, excepting only indictments of vert and venison that pertain to the king.
She held the following in dower.
Braunston, 1/3 manor, true annual value 66s. 8d., held of the countess of Stafford as of her castle of Oakham by knight service and suit at Oakham court every three weeks.
She held the following in demesne as of fee.
Leighfield, one messuage and three carucates of land, true annual value 40s., held of the master of the chantry of Manton by rendering 40s. and 1lb of cumin.
Ridlington and Wardley, one messuage, one toft, one bovate, one virgate, and 6s. assize rent, part of the manor of Allexton in Leicestershire, held of the prior of St John of Jerusalem in England , service unknown. True annual value, 28s.

Date of death and heir as 59. She is daughter and next heir of Margery and William late husband of Margery.
