– for life by grant of John late earl of Salisbury by indented charter sealed under the late earl’s seal. He died on 5 December 1400. Elizabeth widow of William de Monte Acuto, late earl of Salisbury, who held the 1/3 in dower after William’s death by William’s endowment, died on 8 October 1401.
The messuage, land, meadow and wood are held of the abbot of St Albans , service unknown, annual value 60s.

John Bailly of Monk’s Risborough or Princes Risborough and Walter Hampton both of Buckinghamshire occupied the messuage, land, meadow and wood and took the issues both from the time of Richard’s death and from the time of Elizabeth’s death until the day of this inquisition, and are answerable to the king.
