933A Writ de dote assignanda . 12 July 1422. [Wymbyssh] Teste Humphrey, duke of Gloucester.

The escheator of Gloucestershire ordered to take her oath not to marry without royal licence and then to assign dower from the lands taken into the king’s hand owing to the death of her husband Gilbert Denys, knight and the minority of his son and heir Maurice Denys his son and heir. Assignment to be in the presence of the son's next friends. [CCR 1419–22, p.247]
