He held in chief by service of providing the king with a man called a `hobbeler' for 40 days to ride to war in Wales, annual value 40s., and was seised for life jointly with his wife Elizabeth, who survives, of: a messuage, a mill, a carucate, 2 a. meadow, 1 a. pasture, 3 a. wood and 30s. rent in Astley Abbots and Nordley by grant of John Potter, vicar of Bromsgrove , John Porter, vicar of Kidderminster , and Richard Parmenter, chaplain ; a plot of arable in Astley Abbots called `Barates' surrounded by a ditch and extending as far as the highway `de la Brodegrene'; a plot of arable called `Pennehuslond' with 2 fields called `Pennefeldes' in Astley Abbots extending as far as the same highway by grant of Thomas Darnel, rector of Birmingham , John Hawkys, vicar of Tardebigge , and Richard Parmenter, chaplain ; a toft with the land adjoining called `Gyleslond Power' in Romsley and Alveley which William de Fililode had by feoffment of Hugh son and heir of Giles le Power with all other lands which John Potter, vicar of Bromsgrove , Richard Parmenter, chaplain , and Henry Donfowe of Alveley had in the fee of Romsley, an assart called `Smytherodynge', 3 assarts called `Bernerudynges', an assart called `Wuderudynge', an assart called `Morerudynge', an assart called `Hullerudynge', an assart called `Trencherudynge', an assart called `Pikesrudynge' and an assart called `Lytel Orewyneswalle', all in the manor of Nordley. The toft and assarts are held of Margaret Cotene , service unknown, annual value 30s. He was also seised jointly with Elizabeth, to hold to them and the heirs of their bodies, in all lands and tenements which Roger Fililode and Thomas atte Pirye formerly had by feoffment of Giles in Nordley, Claverley and Quatt, held of William, Lord Ferrers of Groby , service unknown, annual value 6s. 4d.

He died on 16 May last. Katharine Blyke and Elizabeth Swyer are his sisters and next heirs, aged 50 years and 48 years.
