He died on 21 Aug. last. Thomas de la Pole is his son and next heir, aged 3 years and more.

and long before his death by a charter shown to the jurors and dated at Grafton Regis 1 Sept. 1417 granted it to Robert Hawerby , deceased, and Richard Gratele , who survives, the king's licence not having been obtained. By his charter dated at Grafton Regis 30 Sept. 1420 and shown to the jurors, the king's licence not having been obtained, Richard demised the manor to Anne de la Pole , Thomas's wife, who survives seised, to hold to her and her heirs male by Thomas.
