Jurors: William Lynde ; John Fascote ; Walter Pecarde ; John Wolstone ; Thomas Bayly ; William Gyffarde ; John Curtays ; William Furbour ; John Frankeleyn ; William Wodehull ; John Ball ; and John Berkele .

Holdings

He held of the king for life the manor of Westbury by a fine levied quin. St. John the Baptist 1403 [CP 25/1/21/112, no. 8] and shown to the jurors, the king's licence to agree having been obtained [24 June 1403: CPR 1401-5, p. 243], also shown to the jurors, between Nicholas Wolbergh , John Whitwell , John Stacheden and John Baldok , quer., and Philip Fitzeustace and his wife Blanche, def. Philip and Blanche acknowledged the manor to be the right of Nicholas as that which Nicholas etc. had by their gift, to hold to Nicholas and his heirs. Nicholas, John Stacheden and John Baldok afterwards died. John Whitwell survived and afterwards died seised by virtue of the fine.

Westbury. The manor is held of the king in chief for 1/4 knight's fee. The site of the manor is worth nothing: there are 60s. assize rents from various tenements there at the four principal terms in equal portions.

He died 31 Dec. last. Cecily, whom William Sydeney married, is Nicholas's daughter and next heir, aged 17 years and more.
