He was seised of the manor of Bradford jointly with his wife Margaret, who survives, by grant of Adam de Corbrigge, chaplain , and William Clerk, merchant of the town of Newcastle upon Tyne, to John Wetwod , son of Robert Wetwod , and Margaret, daughter of Robert de Wynhowe , and the heirs of their bodies, remainder to John's right heirs, the king's licence having been obtained.

Bradford. Annual value of the manor only 6 marks because the land is frequently burnt by the Scots and is barren. It is held of the king in chief by castle guard, rendering 13s. 4d. yearly to the constable of the castle at Bamburgh, and by cornage.

He died 18 Sept. last. Thomas Wetwod , his and Margaret's son, is his next heir, aged 6 years and more.
