Long before his death he held in his demesne as of fee a messuage in Southwark called the inn `del Aungell sur le Hoop' and by indenture dated 16 Nov. 1402 granted it to Joan formerly wife of Master John Fraunceys , keeper of the inn, for life, rendering £3 yearly by equal parts at Easter and Michaelmas. He died holding the rent and the reversion of the inn in his demesne as of fee of the prior of St. Mary Overy, Southwark, by fealty, suit of court and 16s. rent payable by equal parts at the four terms.

He died on 29 Jan. last. Hugh Holt is his son and next heir, aged 30 years and more.
