By a fine of quin. Easter 1325 [CP 25/1/124/54, no. 253] between Roger Bellers and his wife Alice and the keeper of St. Peter's chapel at Kirby Bellars, Roger and Alice were granted the manor of Kirby Bellars to them and the heirs of their bodies with reversion to the keeper and his successors. They had lawful issue Roger and Amice. Roger married Margaret daughter of Richard de la Ryver senior . They had lawful issue Margaret named in the writ. She held it to herself and the heirs of her body in virtue of the fine.

The manor is held of the master of the hospital of Burton Lazars , service unknown, annual value 20 marks.
William de Leke , Thomas Derby , and Thomas Assheby of Quenby by their indented charter dated 8 Sept. 1396 granted by royal licence [12 June 1396: CPR 1391-6, pp. 723-4] to John de Eylesford, knight , now deceased, and his then wife Margaret, the hundred of Framland to hold to them and the heirs of Margaret's body with remainder to Roger de Swyllyngton and his heirs.
She held it of the king by fee-farm of £12 18s. 5 1/2d. payable in the Exchequer by the hand of the sheriff by equal parts at Easter and Michaelmas, annual value, nil beyond the farm.
