He held by knight service of the heir of John, late lord Darcy, a minor in royal ward, who held of Henry IV in chief.

He held of Philip , son and heir John late Lord Darcy , who held of Henry IV , and who, as stated in the writ, is in the king’s ward:

Stainsby, the manor, in his demesne as of fee by knight service and a rent of 10s., annual value 8 marks.

Pickton, the manor, jointly with Joan his wife, by the grant of Thomas Ellerbek and William Gentilman , chaplains, to them and the heirs of their bodies, by knight service, annual value 40s.

Yarm, 4 bovates, in his demesne as of fee by knight service, in demesne and service [Sic], annual value 13s.4d.; and Hutton, 1 messuage and 2 bovates, of the manor of Hutton by knight service, annual value 13s.

He died on 21 Nov. last. John Gower , his son and heir, is aged 17 years and more.
