John Wauncy held in demesne as of fee of the king in chief 3 messuages and 3 virgates of land in Weston by Weedon Lois, of the manor of Weedon Lois, which came to the queen on 24 June 1403 by grant of the king, and is still in her hands. They are worth 13s. 4d. yearly beyond 6s. 8d. pertaining to Katherine Wauncy as her dower after the death of the said John her late husband.

Robert Wawe of Worcestershire received the issues from 24 June 1403 until Michaelmas 1404; then William Adkyns of Weston occupied and received the issues until Michaelmas 1407, except for the abovementioned 6s 8d. He delivered the issues to the feodary at the taking of this inquisition. On the same feast Thomas Wauncy, son and next heir of John, who ought to have been a minor in the queen’s ward, died. After his death Joan Wauncy, sister and heir of John father of Thomas, entered as next heir of Thomas and of full age. John Wauncy died long before the grant by the king to the queen.
