She died on 4 April last . Margaret and Alice are next heirs, aged 30 years and more and 28 years and more.

The 1 a. in Stoke Orchard, the half manor of Coberley, and the manor of Eldersfield in Worcestershire were allotted to Thomas Brugge and Alice, the other daughter and heir, also of full age, by partition between them.

The third part of Stoke Orchard is held of the king in chief in grand serjeanty, annual value 60s.
The third part of the half of Coberley manor is held of Richard Cheddre and Elizabeth his wife in right of Elizabeth, annual value 26s.8d.

[E 149/85] 2 writs dated 22 May 1405 addressed to Edward Ludlowe, escheator of Gloucestershire, and Henry Wychard, escheator of Derbyshire. Make partition of the lands late of Thomas Berkeley between Nicholas Matesden, who married Margaret, one of Thomas’s daughters, and Thomas Brugge, who married Alice, the other daughter; homage having been respited until the quindene of John the Baptist on payment of 40s. in the hanaper; the escheator to take the fealty of Thomas Brugge and surety for relief of Thomas and Nicholas.

[E 149/88] Writ dated 17 Oct. 1406 addressed to John Cokayne, escheator of Derbyshire. Make partition of 1/3 manor of Chilcote between Margaret, wife of Nicholas Matesden, and Alice, wife of Thomas Brugge.
