Holdings

He held no lands or tenements of the king in chief or of any other, in demesne, in fee, or in service; because long before his death, by indenture shown to the jurors, dated 4 October 1441, he granted the following to Geoffrey Berell of Kenilworth and John Grene of Coventry and their heirs and assigns:

a moiety of a toft and 100 a. arable in Cubbington;
various closes called ‘Clospastures’ in Kenilworth; and
a messuage in Stoneleigh
.

He died on 19 December last. John Staleworth is his son and next heir, and was aged 3 on 24 June last.
