Long before his death, John Throkmerton , John Vampage , John Wode , William Wollashull , and William Pullesden were seised of the following in demesne as of fee, jointly with Philip, late bishop of Ely , and Richard Beauchamp, late earl of Warwick , now deceased, and with John Talbot, chevalier, lord Talbot , now earl of Shrewsbury . [+1] They were seised by grant and feoffment of Hugh, named in the writ. [1+] John Talbot quitclaimed his right in the manor to John, John, John, William, and William, by writing shown to the jurors. John, John, John, William, and William, by indented charter dated 2 November 1441, shown to the jurors, granted the manor to Hugh, named in the writ, and Alice his wife, and the heirs of their bodies; with remainder to the heirs and assigns of Hugh. Hugh and Alice were seised in demesne as of fee tail, and Hugh died seised of such estate jointly with Alice, who survives.He died on 15 December 1445. Joyce Beauchamp , now wife of Leonard Stepulton , is his sister and next heir, aged 40 and more.
