He held no lands or tenements of the king in chief or of any other, in demesne as of fee or in service. Long before his death he was seised of the following, n155 which by charter dated at Solihull, 7 April 1444, he granted to Thomas Greswold and his heirs, so that Thomas was and is seised in demesne as of fee. In the charter, shown to the jurors, the premises were described as all his lands, tenements, rents, reversions, and services in Solihull, Tanworth-in-Arden, and Studley.
Solihull, a messuage, 60 a. land, 20 a. meadow, 20 a. pasture, and 6 a. wood, true annual value 20s., held of Thomas Nevyle, knight , and Elizabeth his wife, in right of Elizabeth, during the life of Elizabeth, service unknown.
Tanworth-in-Arden, a messuage, 20 a. land, 6 a. meadow, and 3 a. pasture, true annual value 10s., held of Henry, duke of Warwick , service unknown.
Studley, a messuage, 10 a. land, 4 a. meadow, and 2 a. pasture, true annual value 3s. 4d., held of the prior of Studley , service unknown.

He died on 20 November 1444. Joan, wife of Thomas Popelard , is his kin and next heir, as the daughter of Isabel, the daughter of Alice, the sister of William, the father of Joan, the mother of William. She is aged 60 and more.
