Inquire whether he alienated without royal licence a brewhouse (ten’ brasineum) called ‘le Swan’ and 9 cottages in the parish of St Giles without Cripplegate in the suburbs of London, said to be held of the king in chief; if so, to whom, when, and how, how much they are worth, and by what service they are held.
