Holdings
She held the following in demesne as of fee.
Arlesey, the manor, called ‘Etunsbury’, annual value 20 marks, held of John, earl of Shrewsbury , as 1 knight’s fee.
Potton, the manor, called ‘Cobhamsmaner’, annual value 10 marks, held of the king in chief as ½ knight’s fee.

She died on 26 October 1442. Edward Broke, knight , is her son and next heir, aged 40 and more.

He occupied the manors and received the issues from the time of her death.

William Leche , n123 late of Arlesey, ‘husbondman’, deceased, was seised on 24 August 1434 of a messuage and 8 a. land in Arlesey, worth 6s. yearly. On that day he withdrew himself (se retraxit) and fled on account of his felony in killing William Clerk alias William Smyth of Arlesey.

Maud, late wife of Matthew Stepyng late of Blunham, ‘wedowe’, outlawed on 30 April 1442 at the suit of Roger Haward , in a plea of debt, was seised for the term of her life of 33s. 4d. rent received from all the lands and tenements of Thomas Malyns in Blunham, payable at Lady Day and Michaelmas, by grant of John Loughton of Loughton, Thomas Malyns of Willian, and William Wyrale . Maud has received the rent from the time of her outlawry.

John Maltman of Forthe , ‘husbondman’, outlawed on 20 August 1442 at the suit of William Sambroke , in a plea of debt, died on 16 October last. He had at his death two coverlets (coopertora), worth 2s.; 2 pairs of sheets, worth 3s.; a ?leaden vessel (unum plumbum) and 2 wooden vessels, [and] a ‘possenet’, worth 20d.
