He held the following for the term of his life, with remainder to Robert Gyffard and Joan, his wife, and the heirs of their bodies, by grant of John Throkmarton and John Rous , as appears by a fine levied between them and recorded before the king’s justices at Westminster, Trinity term 1441 [CP 25/1/79/90/86].

Norton Vnderegge’, the manor, annual value 10 marks, held of the king in chief as ¼ knight’s fee.
He held the following in demesne as of fee.
Stonehouse, a messuage and a carucate of land, annual value 20s., held of William, earl of Arundel , service unknown.

He died on 10 June 1444. Robert Gyffard is his son and next heir, aged 26 and more.
