Heversham, Morland and Grayrigg, the manors, held by the heir of Ralph, late earl of Westmorland , Richard Dokett , and Robert Grayme , by knight service and suit of court every three weeks, paying 13s. 4d. yearly. Beetham, the manor, held by Thomas Bethom by homage, fealty and suit of court every three weeks, paying 32s. yearly. Kendal, various lands and tenements, once Thomas Watson’s, held by Richard Roos by homage, fealty and suit of court every three weeks, paying 2s. yearly. Middleton, various lands and tenements, once Thomas Addyson’s, held by Hugh Ward by homage, fealty and suit of court every three weeks, paying 4s. 4d. yearly. ‘Normanlandes’, various lands and tenements so-called, held by the heir of Hugh Ward by fealty, rendering a sparrowhawk worth 12d. yearly. Kirkby Lonsdale, various lands and tenements called ‘Cauncefeld landes’ held by the heir of Thomas Tunstall, knight by homage, fealty and suit of court every three weeks, paying 12d. yearly. 1/3 rent of 10s. called ‘baylefude’ owed by the heirs of the same Thomas for the above lands, viz. 3s. 4d. yearly.
