Holdings

He held no lands or tenements of the king or of any other in demesne, in service, or in reversion, because long before his death, on 4 October 1422, he feoffed the following and their heirs and assigns in all his manors, lands, and tenements, so that they were seised in demesne as of fee: John, archbishop of Canterbury , Edmund Ferrers, knight , Thomas Bradhed, clerk , John Dean, clerk , and Thomas Sharp, chaplain . Edmund, Thomas, John, and Thomas died, and the archbishop held the manors, etc., by right of survivorship, and was and is seised in demesne as of fee.

He died on 1 May last. Sampson Meverell, knight, is his son and next heir, aged 40 and more.
