Holdings
He held the following jointly with Margery, late his wife, who survives, by grant of John Corve , Ralph Wymeldon , and Richard Berby to John, Margery, and ?the heirs of Margery. n004 He died seised. Margery, who is the daughter and heir of Richard Berners , after his death held the manor and advowson according to the above grant by right of survivorship. Margery and her current husband John Bourchier have continually occupied the manor and advowson from John Fereby ’s death until the day of this inquisition, in right of Margery, and have taken all the issues.
Icklingham, the manor of ‘Berners’, true annual value 20 marks,
with the advowson of the church of All Saints, of no annual value,
held of the heirs of Edmund, late earl of Kent , as ½ knight’s fee.

He died on 10 October 1441. Robert Fereby is his brother and next heir, aged 40 and more.
