Long before Isabel’s death, John Botiller, knight , lately her husband, was seised in demesne as of fee of the manor of Exhall and, by indented charter dated at London on 3 April 1430, shown to the jurors, he granted it – with all its lands, tenements, rents, services, reversions, meadows, pastures, with neifs and their families, and all liberties and customs belonging to the manor – to William Estfeld, alderman of the city of London, Richard Dene of Coventry, mercer , and William Arosmyth of Warrington in Lancashire, ‘marchant’, and their heirs and assigns. William, Richard, and William were thus seised in demesne as of fee. Thus seised, by charter dated on 10 March 1439, shown to the jurors, they demised and enfeoffed the manor to Isabel Botiller , lately wife of John Botiller of Bewsey, knight , for life, with remainder to John Botiller , son of John Botiller of Bewsey, and his heirs. She was thus seised in demesne as of free tenement.She died on 15 May 1441. John Botiller , son and heir of John Botiller is her next heir by virtue of the remainder, and aged 12 and more.
