Edmund Forde , Robert Banak, clerk , and John Prentys, parson of Iron Acton , were formerly seised in demesne as of fee of the manor of Hill and, by charter dated on 21 April 1412, shown to the jurors, granted it to Thomas Fitz Nicholl, chevalier , and Agnes his wife, now deceased, to hold to them and the heirs male of the body of Thomas, with successive remainders to Robert Poyntz , now deceased, and Katherine, then his wife, daughter of Thomas, she still living, to hold for their lives with remainder to Nicholas their son, and the heirs male of his body; to Thomas, their son, and the heirs male of his body; to Maurice, their son, and the heirs male of his body; to Blanche, Isabel, and Joan, their daughters, and the heirs male of their bodies; and to the right heirs of Thomas Fitz Nicholl.
