ALICE WHO WAS WIFE OF JOHN KENNE

She held no lands or tenements of the king in chief in demesne or service, but she did hold the following for life from the inheritance of Robert Kenne, a minor in the king’s wardship, by demise of Thomas Garenter and John Walsshe , chaplains, to Alice and John Kenne, then her husband, and the heirs of John. John was great-grandfather of Robert Kenne, as father of John father of John father of Robert, and Robert is his heir.
Kenn, the manor, annual value £18, held of Thomas Wake and Agnes his wife, in right of Agnes, as of the manor of Clevedon, service unknown.
Kingston Seymour, the manor, annual value £12, with advowson of the church there, held of the king as of his honour of Trowbridge by knight service.

She died on 11 April last. Robert Kenne is her kin and next heir, viz., son of John son of John son of Alice, and was aged 10 on 12 November last.
