Paglesham and Great Stambridge, the manor called Church Hall, annual value 10 marks, held of the abbot of St Peter’s, Westminster, by fee farm.

He died on 4 February last.n344 John Warner, junior , is his son and next heir, and aged 8 and more.

Lord Bourchier occupied the manor called ‘Boyes’ and took the issues from the time of John’s death until the day of the inquisition, title and manner unknown.

n343^: The ms records the date of death as ‘Thursday after the Purification of Mary last’. The date of death given in the inquisition of 404 is also ‘Thursday after the Purification of Mary last’, but the different regnal year given for the date of the inquisition means that this translates as 4 February last (1440).
