They granted them to Edmund and Eleanor, then his wife, still living, and the heirs of their bodies. Edmund and Eleanor were thus jointly seised, and Edmund died seised of this estate and no other.He died on 22 February 1440. Robert Benstede is his kin and next heir, viz., son of Ralph son of Edmund, and is aged 5 years and more.n160
