Thus seised, he granted it by indented charter, dated on 23 July 1425 and shown to the jurors, to John, named in the writ, and Elizabeth, wife of John and daughter of Thomas, and to the heirs of their bodies, with reversion to Thomas Brook and his full heirs. John was described in the charter as John Saymore (de Sancto Mauro), son and heir of John Saymore (de Sancto Mauro). John and Elizabeth were thus seised of the manor in demesne as of fee tail, and they had issue: Thomas, Joan, Isabel, and Margaret, still living. John died seised of his estate and Elizabeth survived him. She is still living and continues in her estate by virtue of the grant.Date of death as 224. Thomas Saymore , alias Thomas de Sancto Mauro , is his son and next heir, and aged 12 years and more.
