He died seised of the following in demesne as of fee.
Belford, 1/2 manor. There is a capital messuage called ‘Fortilag’ of Belford, 80 a. demesne land, 16 a. meadow, 100 a. wood; and 40 a. pasture.
Belford, 1/2 vill. There are 7 1/2 husband-lands, 24 cottages, 2 cottages called ‘Brewland’, a messuage, 12 a. land called ‘Herbergill Land’, and a messuage and 3 a. land called ‘Dyve Hall’.
Easington, the hamlet in Belford. There are 80 a. demesne land, 7 1/2 husband-lands, and 6 cottages.
The 1/2 manor, 1/2 vill and the hamlet are held of the king in chief as 1/15 knight’s fee. Annual value 30s. and no more these days because of destruction by Scots and the barreness of the land.
Beanley, the vill, of no annual value these days because of destruction by Scots, held of the king in socage by rendering 12 marks yearly for all service. There is a capital messuage and 20 husband-lands.
Shawdon, the manor, annual value 20s. and no more these days because of destruction by Scots and the barreness of the land, held of Ralph Gray, knight , as of his manor of Wark, service unknown. There are 100 a. demesne land, 40 a. meadow, 40 a. wood, one watermill, and 60 a. pasture.
Glanton, 7 husband-lands, each worth 12d. yearly, held of the same Ralph, service unknown.
West Lilburn, the manor, annual value 40s. and no more these days because of destruction by Scots and the barreness of the land, held of Ralph Gray, knight , as of his manor of Wark by knight service and rendering 20s. yearly to him. There are 400 a. demesne land and 100 a. pasture.

He died on 10 September last. John Lilburn is his son and next heir, and aged 23 years and more.
