5 virgates of land in East Carlton of the king in chief by knight service, and died seised in demesne as of fee of 12s. 2 1/2d. assize rent from the 5 virgates, by the hand of John Hay , Robert Holecote , and William Page and payable to Nicholas and his heirs at Christmas, Easter, Midsummer, and Michaelmas equally.

He died on 12 October 1436. John Gryffon , his son and next heir, is aged 12 years and more.

John Gryffon of Braybrooke took the rent from Nicholas’ death until the day of the inquisition, and is thus answerable to the king.
