The grant was made by charter dated at Bentley on 27 April 1430, shown to the jurors, in which and manor and bailiwick were described as the manor of Bentley with the bailiwick of keeping the ‘hay’ of Bentley, with all reversions in Bentley and all easements and appurtenances in Staffordshire.He died on 12 January last. John Lone , his son and next heir, is aged 30 years and more.
