Holdings
He held no lands or tenements of the king in chief, or any other, in demesne or service. Walter, lately Lord Fitzwalter, knight , deceased, was seised of the manor of Woodham Walter in demesne as of fee. He granted
parcel of the manor, a tenement called ‘Bryans tenement’, annual value 10s.,
to Richard his servant for life, for good service past and future. The grant was made by Walter’s letters patent, dated at Woodham Walter on 8 July 1425, in which he is described as Walter, Lord Fitzwalter of Woodham Walter , and lord of Haye-du-puits and Roche-Tesson in Normandy. The manor of Woodham Walter is held of the king in chief by knight service as part of the barony of Fitzwalter.

Richard died on 5 January last. Robert Beynton , his brother and next heir, is aged 33 years and more.
