Holdings
He held the following in demesne as of fee.
Kingsholm by Gloucester, 1/4 manor, held of the king in chief as 1/10 knight’s fee. There is the site of the said 1/4 manor, worth nothing yearly; 39s. assize rent from free tenants, payable at Christmas, Lady Day, Midsummer and Michaelmas equally; 13 a. arable, each acre worth 4d. yearly; 7 a. meadow, 4 of which lie in Walham and 3 in Twigworth, each acre worth 12d. yearly; 1/4 pasture called ‘Kyngeshomegrene’ in Twigworth, worth 2s. yearly; pleas and perquisites of court, worth 6d. yearly.
He held the following by curtesy after the death of Margaret his wife from the inheritance of Robert Maddesdon , son and heir of Margaret, because Nicholas and Margaret had issue, the said Robert.
Stoke Orchard, the manor, held of the king by service of a broad-headed arrow yearly. There is a manorial site, worth nothing yearly; £13 16s. 4d. assize rent and 1lb cumin and 1lb pepper from free tenants, the money payable at Christmas, Lady Day, Midsummer and Michaelmas equally, and the cumin and pepper payable at Michaelmas; a carucate of land containing 54 a. arable, each acre worth 4d. yearly; and 8 a. meadow, each acre worth 12d. yearly.

He died on 19 October 1435. Robert is his and Margaret’s son and next heir, aged 25 years and more.
