The charter specified successive remainders to the following: Robert, son of William Euot , and the heirs of his body; William, son of William Euot , and the heirs of his body; Margaret, daughter of William Euot , and the heirs of her body; Alice, daughter of William Euot and the heirs of her body; Margaret, lately wife of William Euot [father] and her assigns, for life, to hold of the chief lords of the fee by due services; John Euot , named in the writ, by the name of John, bastard son of William Euot [father], and the heirs of his body, to hold of the chief lords of the fee by due services; William, son of John Holden of the parish of Hunton, Kent, and the heirs of his body, to hold of the chief lords of the fee by due services; Lawrence, Thomas and Roger, sons of Bartholomew atte Wode , deceased, and their heirs and assigns. After her death, John Euot was seised in fee tail, by virtue of the remainder, and died seised in no other way but this.

He did not hold any land or tenements in demesne as of fee simple of the king or of any other. But Thomas Lincoln , Robert Luton , clothier, and Richard Osbarn , citizens of London, were seised of the following in demesne as of fee, once belonging to Simon de Wynchecombe , lately citizen and armourer of London . This, with William Euot , lately clothier of London, they had by grant and enfeoffment of John Seymour , John Clee , clothier, William Herston , Matthew Rede and Richard Person , citizens of London. They demised it to Thomas, son of William Euot , lately citizen and clothier of London, and the heirs of his body to hold of the chief lords of the fee by due services. This was done by an indented charter of theirs dated at London on 20 January 1408, shown to the jurors. It specified successive remainders wholly to the following: William, son of William Euot the father, and the heirs of his body; John Euot , by the name John, bastard son of William Euot the father, and the heirs of his body, to hold from the chief lords of the fee by due services; William, son of John Holden of the parish of Hunton, Kent, and the heirs of his body; and to Lawrence, Thomas and Roger, sons of Bartholomew atte Wode , deceased, and their heirs and assigns, to hold from the chief lords of the fee by due services. Thomas and William, sons of William Euot the father, died without heirs of their bodies and after their deaths John Euot was seised in fee tail, by virtue of the remainder, and he died thus, but in no other way, seised.
