Holdings
She did not hold any further lands or tenements of the king or of any other, other than those referred to in the earlier inquisition. John Arundell, Lord Arundel and Mautravers was formerly seised of the following manors in demesne as of fee. Thus seised, he married Eleanor, daughter of John Berkeley, knight , still living, and after their marriage, by a charter of his dated on 12 October 1416, John granted the manors to Bartholomew Brokesby , John Harewell, senior , John Brace and Nicholas Saucer , to hold as of free tenement for the life of Joan Beauchamp, Lady Abergavenny . Afterwards, John, Lord Arundel died and after his death the reversion of the manors descended to John, earl of Arundel , as his son and heir. Subsequently, the said John, earl of Arundel died seised of the reversion of the manors and after his death this descended to Humphrey, his son and heir, a minor in the king’s wardship, who is aged 6 years and more.
