Regarding lands held of the king in chief for life from the inheritance of Thomasia, daughter and heir of Richard Hankeford, knight , and Elizabeth lately his wife. Thomasia is a minor in the king’s wardship.

He held the following for life from the inheritance of Thomasia by grant of Richard Hankeford and Elizabeth lately his wife.
Edlington, the manor, held of Henry Vavasour of his manor of Hazelwood by service of one pair of spurs. There is the site, worth 12d. yearly; 80 a. arable, each acre worth 2d. yearly; 8 ruinous messuages with 8 bovates belonging to the same, each messuage with bovate worth 2s. 6d. yearly; 4 bovates of arable, each worth 2s. yearly; 2s. 8d. rent from various lands and tenements; 2 cottages, each worth 6d. yearly; a meadow, called ‘Haleynge’, containing 4 a., each acre worth 18d. yearly; an acre of meadow in the northern field, worth 16d. yearly; and a wood containing 90 a., worth nothing yearly above enclosure.

He died on 28 June 1434. Thomasia, daughter of Richard Hankeford , is aged 13 years and more.
