in his demesne as of fee. On 26 January 1431, by his deed shown to the jurors, he granted the moiety of the wood to Thomas Rigge of Welton le Marsh, John Wyles , William Fychet and Richard Batill , and their heirs and assigns, to hold of the chief lords of the fee by the due and customary services. They remain seised in their demesne as of fee. He died seised of
1/2 manor, except for 1/2 wood, in his demesne as of fee, annual value £40, at Easter, at the feast of St Botulph, Michaelmas and Martinmas equally. The 1/2 manor is held of Henry, earl of Northumberland , Ralph, Lord Cromwell , and John, Lord Beaumont , service unknown.

He died on 20 February last. John Griffyth, knight , is his son and next heir, aged 24 years and more.
