Elizabeth Tame , named in the writ, held no lands or tenements of the king in chief in demesne or service or of another. John Pokeswell , her former husband, was formerly seised of the following in his demesne as of fee.

Huntspill, a messuage and 1/3 carucate.
Burnham on Sea, a carucate.
Uphill, 1/4 manor.
Christon, 1/4 manor.
Lyncomb, a toft and a carucate so called.
Cossington, 1/3 of a of toft and carucate.
Durborough, 1/3 manor.
Chalcott, a carucate.
East Lydford or West Lydford, 1/5 of 40d. rent from a messuage, 40 a. land, meadow and pasture.
By his charter dated on 3 November 1404 and shown to the jurors, he enfeoffed John Strecche , Robert Gray , Hugh Deuerell , William Gosse , Hugh Arnald, clerk , and John Chyuerell , and their heirs and assigns, with the above, described as all lands, tenements, rents, reversions and services in these, named, places. The feoffees were seised in their demesne as of fee. John Pokeswell afterwards married Elizabeth; he died and Elizabeth married Thomas Tame, esquire . At Dorchester, Dorset, on 27 June 1418, through the mediation of Robert Derby, esquire , and John Fauntleroy , it was agreed between Thomas Tame and Elizabeth and John Strecche, Hugh Deuerell and John Chyuerell and other surviving feoffees, that John, Hugh and John grant
an annual rent of 25 marks,
by the hands of these feoffees or the survivor, to Thomas and Elizabeth during her life. Thomas and Elizabeth were seised as of free tenement in this manner and form. She never had any other estate or possession of the lands, tenements, rents, reversions or services or in any part of them, only in the rent, as above. John Chyuerell alone survives and is seised in his demesne as of fee.

She died on 1 August last, without heir.
