Holdings

She held the manors of Mansfield and Linby for life by grant of ‪ Henry IV , reversion to ‪ Henry IV and his heirs. The manors are valued severally, namely the manor of Mansfield and its lordship in the various vills and hamlets of Mansfield and Mansfield Woodhouse, Sutton in Ashfield, Warsop, Scofton, Newton, Budby, Clumber, Nettleworth, Radmanthwaite, Moorhaigh, Pleasley Hill, Hucknall under Huthwaite and the forest close of Fulwood.

Mansfield: there is no manor built, but there is the small site, worth 6d. yearly in herbage after its enclosure; £33 free rents yearly, both by the hands of various tenants of these vills and hamlets and from other rents of various tenants belonging to the manor, at Lady Day and Nativity of St Mary in equal portions; the woods of Lindhurst and Dalestorth and ‘lez Outwodes’ of these, worth nothing yearly after their keepers’ fees; 3 watermills, worth 20s. yearly; a court every three weeks and view of frankpledge twice yearly – within a month of Easter and within a month of Easter and within month of Michaelmas – worth 6s. 8d. yearly; and an annual fair on the feast of St Peter and St Paul , worth 5s. yearly.
Linby: there is the site of the manor, but no manor is built, the site worth 4d. yearly in herbage; 30 a. arable, each acre worth 2d. yearly; 3 a. meadow, each acre worth 6d. yearly; 3 cottages, each with an adjacent garden worth 12d. yearly at farm; and a wood called ‘Lyndeby Hawes’, worth nothing yearly after the fee of its keeper.

She died on 28 December last. John Ingelfeld, esquire , is her son and next heir, aged 30 years and more.
