Regarding lands and tenements held by curtesy after the death of Elizabeth his wife from the inheritance of John Burgh , her son and heir.

Wentnor, 2 parts of the manor, annual value 18s.
Yockleton, 2 parts of the manor and of the hamlet of Stoney Stretton, member of the manor, annual value 52s.
Caus, 2 parts of ¼ forest, annual value 10s.
Kinnerton and Stirchley, 2 parts of 40s. rent and 2 parts of 3 pennyweights of gold rent, annual value 2s., payable at Lady Day and Michaelmas by equal parts.
The above manors etc. are held of the king in chief by knight service, and their annual values are no more because they are in the county adjacent to the March of Wales, and were laid waste during the wars by Welsh rebels. They are now laid waste because of pestilence and thieves in the March. He held the following for life as above.
Hayes, 2 parts of the manor, annual value 28s.
Habberley, 2 parts of the manor, annual value 24s., and of advowson of the church.
Loton, 2 parts of the manor, annual value 16s.
Cardeston, 2 parts of the manor, annual value 26s., and of advowson of the chapel.
Wattlesborough, 2 parts of the manor, annual value 26s. 8d.
The above manors are held of the earl of Stafford as of his castle of Caus by knight service, and their annual values are no more for the same reasons as above. He held the following for life as above.
Bradeshull’, a pasture called ‘Bradeshull’ containing 72 a., annual value 6s., held of John Eyton , service unknown.
The Hem, 2 parts of the manor and of the hamlet of Hinnington, member of the manor, annual value 30s., held of John Talbot and Hugh Cokesey, knight , as of the manor of Idsall, service unknown.
Haughton, 2 messuages, annual value 10s., held of the abbot of Haughmond by rendering 5s. yearly.
Lee Brockhurst, 20s. rent service from various lands and tenements.
Brocton , a moiety of 2 mills, annual value 5s., held of the king in chief by knight service.
Mouth, 2 parts of the lordship of Mouth in Powysland, annual value 8 marks and no more because totally destroyed by Welsh rebels during the wars. The lordship is held of the lord of Powys as of the castle of Pool, by 13s. 4d. castleward yearly.

He died on 18 August last. John Burgh , son and next heir of Elizabeth and Hugh, was aged 16 on 12 June last.
